Great opening, in which the mayor leads the town in a song and dance about being perfect in Perfection. Lyndsey Wegner was great in this role, buttoned up and meaning business, while subtly creeping the crap out of the audience. Tyler Angier was also excellent as that bro we all knew in college.
What I didn't like
The 50s camp of the first half of the show lands well, and I would have loved to see that kitchiness strung through the second half.
My overall impression
It’s a fun throwback romp with a message. For me, the throwback romp shone brighter than the more serious parts. Who doesn’t love red ribbon “blood”?!
