The show really touched my heart. The acting was great and the underline story about compassion hit me like a ton of bricks. This story needs to be seen by all as we could all relate to Lyman in so many ways. I would love to invite all my friends and family to see it again. It was amazing!!!!... full review

Thought provoking and poignant! Lyman definitely makes the audience relate to how easily any of us could have ended up on a different path. Also, the show does a great job of raising awareness for homelessness and for homeless veterans. The second and third vignette are especially engaging. They're played in a grounded, down-to-earth fashion, which doesn't over sentimentalize the very heavy material explored. In these vignettes we get to know and like Lyman. The ending helped the production come full circle and tied the story together nicely. The Hollywood Fringe version of this play is selected scenes of a larger production. I'd like to see the full length show for sure! The production did a good job of creating a concise story from... full review

There was so much to enjoy about this piece. It had a gentle opening with a beautiful 3 part harmony piece sung by three "homeless" men. It set the mood and was lovely. The lead actor was energetic and fun to watch. He had great charisma and was very comfortable with every version of his multiple realities. The monologues were heartfelt and well written. And Lou Beatty Jr.'s performance was heartbreaking and sincere.... full review

My husband and I loved the play. It was refreshing to see universal realism with mind-opening twists that make us look deeper into our souls about the human states of what could be. This play had brilliant actors that took the characters to the next level and made us feel like we were living the life in each alternate universe. Bravo!!! ... full review

I loved the overall idea behind the play and it really made me think about the choices I made from then on out. It is so interesting, as the play makes the audience aware of, that one choice really can set back, or alter an entire course for the future. I always wonder, what would happen in a situation if I would have done ..."x" instead of "z" and although you can't live your life that way, I feel more empowered to choose what I'd truly want now, getting to see how there are multiple possibilities to our lives through seeing all of the alternate realities of Lyman. The cast is fantastic and the original songs are so touching and beautiful!... full review

I went in not knowing anything about the show, and two minutes into the first song, I was hooked. I can't think of another show that addresses homelessness with such compassion. I'm looking forward to seeing the full version!... full review
