“PAINT” – When Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns fell in love, they created their most critically valuable output of art. This award-winning play imagines their rivalry and friendship after their break-up in 1961. It is a magical story about fame, jealousy, art and betrayal. But above all else, it is a Love Story.

The provocative, award-winning new play, “PAINT” was first performed in a world premiere at the Semel Theater at Emerson College in Boston, MA shortly after winning the school’s highest artistic honor, “Rod Parker Playwriting Fellowship" last winter (2010) for scribe Dan DeNicola.
