A delightful show as David Wheatley plies his talents at the keyboard to an ecletic mix of pieces ranging from original numbers to classic TV show themes.... full review

While the transitions were very awkward, it makes the music and the story behind the songs all the more endearing. What made the show awkward really helped make it funny, enlightening, and musical all in its own way.... full review

Yesterday, I saw an amazing concert, A USEFUL LIFE in C Major, featuring David Wheatley, pianist, composer, burgeoning comic and gifted storyteller. I was very impressed! While I've attended other shows of his, this venue brought his artistry to a new level.. There was a wide variety of music and variations on "O Canada", the Canadian National Anthem, from his homeland and was especially touching. His dexterous jazz and classical playing were so imaginative and impressive. I would recommend this show to anyone looking for something out of the box and for an inspiring and fun experience.... full review

Although I am co-producing this show, Sunday’s preview was the first time seeing it in front of an audience and I was blown away by David Wheatley’s impossible ability at the keyboard. His hilarious charisma in describing his musical journey, the history of a particular song choice, his witty take on how the world works and how adding a simple prop was a big step in the show’s development is just an example of his improvisational and charming personality all to keep the audience a part of the experience. The remaining shows may have some additional surprises and that’s actually the beauty of Wheatley’s show…he takes everyone in ... full review

This concert is appropriate for all ages and, even if you're not a classical music buff, you'll like David's take on Bach and Beethoven. Knowing that David's show is not a totally set piece, going back and seeing it again would be a great idea!... full review

Imagine an actor improvising with Shakespeare, Chekhov, Mamet, and Gergis. Now translate that to the piano and the 12 incredibly agile fingers of Mr. Wheatley. Take a break from the drama, and get transported into your own private jazz club. ... full review
