Randy Vasquez joins the cast of "God's Waiting Room"
May 20, 2016Distinguished actor/director Randy Vasquez has joined the cast of “God’s Waiting Room” in the role of Carlos Mendez. Audiences will remember Randy for his long running role of Gunnery Sgt. Victor “Gunny” Galindez on the CBS hit show “JAG” with David James Elliott. Randy’s long television career includes roles on “Highway to Heaven”, “Hill Street Blues”, as Ramon Fonseca on “Santa Barbara”, “Knots Landing”. a regular on "Acapulco H.E.A.T. with Catherine Oxenberg, NCIS, and Shameless. Randy was nominated for an AKMA Award for his work on “Love Boat: The Next Wave” and he directed the widely acclaimed documentary “The Thick Dark Fog” which won the 2011 American Indian Movie Award. We are happy to have Randy aboard the premiere of this psychological drama.

May 02, 2016Robert Austin Rossi, a BlueCat quarter finalist for his film script “The Dowager” premieres his One Act Play, “God’s Waiting Room” at this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival. “The Dowager” also placed in We Screenplay, London’s Table Read Your Screenplay, The Chicago Screenplay Competition and The Beverly Hills Screenplay Competitions.
Last year Mr. Rossi’s “Patriot/Traitor” about the 1916 Irish Uprising placed in the top 50 of The International Screenwriter’s Association (ISA) and was a Finalist in The Nashville Screenwriting Competition.
“Edith:, Mr. Rossi’s latest screenplay is a Finalist in The First 10 Pages Screenplay Competition where a Grand Prize will be awarded on May 15.
“God’s Waiting Room” is Mr. Rossi’s first play and premieres June 4th at 4 p.m. at The Actors Company. The play about the splintered D’Agastino family from Delaware stars Filip Hofman, Denise Carole, David Saucedo, Geoffrey Gilbert with DeAndra Dixon as The Nurse. Mr. Rossi directs.

March 30, 2016The Hollywood Fringe Festival and The Actors Company welcome the premiere of “God’s Waiting Room”, a new one act play which will premiere during the festival. The drama, set in the waiting room of a Palm Springs hospital, examines the dark family troubles of The D’Agostino family and their long lasting effects on two of its members. Coming off a successful festival run of his short film screenplay, “The Bench” directed by Hollywood Veteran Tom Lazarus, Robert Austin Rossi premieres this psychological drama on The Live Stage at The Actors Company in June.
