Last night I was treated to a night in the theatre. A friend took me to see The Owl and The Pussycat at the Dorie. The play opened with an immediate explosion introducing us to Felix and Doris. Two fleshed out wholesome characters were formed by the intimate and truthful chemistry between Marlies Bauer Bell and Zach Fouché. They made the stage their home, they emanated power and a sense of real love that cannot be found today. I was so impressed with the clarity and conviction they owned. This is a performance that pushes home the fact that phenomenal transcending theatre is alive and well. I was touched from the first word.... full review

Beautiful and very entertaining performance overall. A show that would be unfortunate for any live performance enthusiast to miss. You can see the natural synergies exuded between director and artist. Seamless production, I would love to see it again!... full review

Zach and Marlies were high caliber actors which I will not hesitate to see again. Marlies was dynamic, witty and very sensual and funny. Zach was perfect, impersonating someone who was not comfortable with himself and at the same time, looking for companionship. These two young actors have a lot to look for in the future. Congratulations on showcasing this play at your theater.... full review

I was very impressed with their performance. The time went by so fast, that I believe I could have watched another hour of it. I predict these two young and talented actors will have big careers ahead of them. I strongly recommend this play. After the show, we had dinner at La Poubelle and just could not stop talking about it. Congratulations to the Fringe, the director and most importantly Zach and Marlies for their performance.... full review
