The show was really fun. Good vocals, choreography and direction that added a lot to the story. One of my favorite moments was “Fuck it” something for people that have experienced moving to LA to be an actor. Multiple characters were played with good differentiation.
What I didn't like
At the onset there was a lot of complaining from the main character. This was an obvious choice but, it feeds into stereotypes that are already played out and heard often. It did not drive sympathy for me personally but rather kind of reiterated the “dumb” actor with a survival job stereotype. Thankfully the she does develop and isn’t there for too. Long and I am nitpicking. I think though the characters were played differently a single prop for each could have helped tell story and delineate them in a clearer way.
My overall impression
You will enjoy it. Go see it. The ending number was one of the highlights for me.
