Thug Tunnel is such a fun and creative show! I loved the 80s vibe and everyone was having such a blast on stage. Major props must be given to the staging, choreography and music. I could tell this was a very complex show and a ton of work went into creating it. I had a blast watching it and found myself humming some of the songs well after I had left the theatre (which is a good thing in my book!). ...

A hundred years ago, the world's companies of actors functioned much more like families than one usually sees today; new plays were rehearsed for months and months and each performer gained an intimate understanding of her peers' performance styles as well as their characters, such that once the show was up and running, the audience witnessed less the unavoidable turbulence of new stage dynamics and more the smooth workings of a fluid theatrical engine. I have seen this group perform together for years, and it astonishes me to see how far they've come as a creative unit. Members of the improv team Robot Teammate personalized the characters they play, so that means these talented actors and singers are in roles perfectly crafted for them to really shine. The group so clearly enjoys playing together and the fun they are having onstage is infectious. BEST MUSICAL at Fringe by far, don't miss it! ...
