Smoke & Mirrors is laugh out loud funny, but also bittersweet. Albie Selznick weaves wry and introspective storytelling with amazing physical feats and magic (you'll be wondering "How did he do that?" over and over)! Go spend an hour w/this man and his bunny!... full review

Albie is a very talented performer. His one-man one-bunny show is sad, sweaty, and still fun all at the same time. Original music by Johnnie Gee is delightful.... full review

This show is what theatre is all about - taking your impressions of significant events in life and putting them out there for all to see. Selznick is a gifted storyteller and enthusiastic performer who brings those stories into vivid relief. Funny and irreverent, it made for a very entertaining night of theatre. ... full review

You grow up with someone for your entire life and in 1.5 hours you learn things about them you never knew. Albie did the magic shows for my birthday parties 40 years ago! Little did I know the heartfelt reason behind his magic. Albie has a deep and meaningful way of telling his stories. Every moment is filled with eloquence, spirit and magic! He brings the past right to you and makes you feel as if you were right there with him. Kudos! ... full review

Albie's strories in Smoke and Mirrors are hilarious, moving, captivating, and incredibly human. He is an engaging and brave performer/storyteller that shows us that under the magic we all perform daily, we sometimes quietly find profound moments of empathy (even when we're not sure what to say). The magic was very fun and cool as well and Albie impresses with his use of the space, enthusiastic physicality, and finds every excuse to involve his audience. This is a must-see. ... full review
