A wonderful one act about navigating one's way in life and in love, who we want to be, who we think we should be, and how it impacts the choices we make. I think everyone will recognize a piece of themselves in one or more of these characters. So much heart in this production and plenty of humor too. This is real life, folks. Messy and bumpy at times, but also full of opportunities to discover what else might be possible. ... full review

War Stories is a great show because of it's two biggest weapons... and they're both named Sarah. Schreiber and Kelly are alive and open on stage and I could feel their characters just by watching. Kelly does very little and her fear and what all she is holding back is palpable. It's a really controlled, measured, mysterious performance. Schreiber plays a torch in a firework factory. Her character is so much more alive than those around her and they want to touch the fire, but she seems to know that once she lights them, they will burn out quickly and she will be left alone, so she holds her distance. War Stories is full of thought provoking content about love life and relationships, this play is funny, dramatic and poignant. Excellently written by Sarah Kelly, who is also one of the stars. Her voice is unique and complex. The directing flows the story smoothly as all the characters are on stage for the majority of the show even when actors are presenting different scenes. Anyone will be able to identify with at least one of the characters in this play, who are brought to life wonderfully with great acting by the entire cast.... full review

A brilliant, insightful look at relationships in LA and really everywhere. So many lines hit me right in the gut. So much truth and humor. It's a perfect Fringe show. SEE IT! Even the 11pm show is worth it!... full review

I could not believe how lame this show was. I don't use the term lame lightly, the acting was just saying words to the fourth wall and lacked all emotion. The script could have been written by a fifteen year old. If you want to go watch something about love and relationships, go watch anything else. This fails to offer anything of substance. ... full review
