This show took a concept that is usually handled in one of two ways: virginity being this sacred holier than thou task or it being a pathetic milestone that you need to get out of the way. This play does neither and delves into a personal and intimate and honest look at what life, love, dating and sex (or lack thereof) is like when one is celibate.
It’s funny, thought provoking, tender, genuine, well acted, well designed, passionately planned out and performed. It had me laughing, smiling and even pondering throughout the show and after the show was over I found myself thinking about many of the things I had seen in the production. Just an incredible experience.
What I didn't like
I wish the projector screen was larger, I could read it just fine but maybe a bit larger for comedic purposes.
My overall impression
This is a true candidate for best show of the year, definitely the best play I’ve seen thus far and I predict it will be nominated for several awards. Touching, funny, honest and bold this is a play I will be thinking about years from now.
