What I liked

The beautiful awkwardness of the child actors tackling material way in advance of their age. The loving detail of the short-bus-special effects.

What I didn't like

My overall impression

Highly recommended! A roller coaster push-pull relationship between reality versus truth in theatre. It’s so much fun to watch these great kids try their darnedest to give their best to this show-within-the show. It’s difficult enough to get less-than-seasoned actors to play the truth of a scene or their characters, much less to tackle the meta theatricality of this show. And these guys and girls pulled it way off with charming aplomb. Loved it!!
