What I liked

This is the most disturbing production of Titus Andronicus ever conceived. There are no beard scratching ‘oooooh that Shakespearean rag’ moments for the audience where you weigh the textual choices versus the director’s thesis. I was so shocked at some moments I had to look around to make sure it was okay for me to laugh my ass off.

What I didn't like

I wish there were more children. But if there were more, what else could be done to them?

My overall impression

By going gangbusters in the opposite direction this play achieves the fear and pity feeling you may have read that you are supposed to feel watching tragedy. It is an ass backwards way to get there but it is legit!

"Naked Onstage"

"Naked Onstage" is a humorous (yet subtly profound) look at life, secrets, race, age, family, relationships, dumb sh*t people say and much much more! Kent's unique perspective is unexpected yet perfectly timed for 2019.
