A valiant farcical effort on the lengths TV producers and networks will go to attract an audience, but falls short with thinly developed cartoonish characters. There is some clever dialogue and some laughs but ultimately comes up empty without any purpose for the story it is presenting. Such a great opportunity squandered with many performances one dimensional that prove uninvolving in addition to a lack cluster leading man that only further weighs down the underdeveloped premise and script. Such fare seems to succeed in the Fringe frenzied environment but I fear would fall on it’s face if left to stand on it’s own in the commercial theatrical world.
