This was a wonderful production with a series of vignettes that were as comedic and fun as they were intense and heartfelt. A must see show with a talented ensemble cast. Congratulations to Theatre Unleashed!... full review

I went in expecting light and fluffy. I came out wishing I had tissues. It was insanely funny in parts and completely tear-invoking in others. The entire cast was excellent and, in particular, Jim Martyka and Eric Cire gave exceptionally powerful performances. This was a really moving show. ... full review

This is a must-see show! It draws you in with characters and situations that are relatable. It shows the reality of sleeping around rather than just the sexy times. It delves into the nuances of different types of relationships, which creates some truly heartwarming/heartbreaking moments. Basically it has everything going on: sex, comedy, love, drama, and AMAZING actors! Congrats Theatre Unleashed!!!!... full review

So...where to begin. A series of almost magically interconnected vignettes that are as funny as you'd expect from the title and promo materials, but perhaps more soulful, rich and deep than you will be prepared for. The structural style of two characters on stage at a time, yet never the same two characters, creates currents and eddies that shift marvelously from scene to scene. You may think you have a character figured out, and you might be right, but I suspect you will be surprised by each and every one. The performances are wonderful and nuanced (and where nuance is lacking the bombast and energy that fill the void shake things up perfectly and at just the right moment). Every member of this ensemble deserves to be proud of ... full review

TU's performance of "Sleeping Around" was a pleasantly diverse buffet of different characters and their dysfunctional, disappointing, and diverting sex lives. The play's structure, overlapping duet scenes that kept a revolving door of these colorful characters, coupled with a simplicity of set design and scene transitions kept the play moving with great momentum. Every actor had a couple of scenes to bring to life the sometimes amusing, sometimes heartbreaking reality of their romantic lives. The strength of the play lies in the strength of it's ensemble and their ability to make each scene a fresh moment, no two intimate encounters the same, in content or dynamic. My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time seeing these people live ou... full review

"Sleeping Around" is by far one of the best produced shows by the powerhouse team that is Theatre Unleashed. Focusing on real relationships in unsuspecting environments, Theatre Unleashed does a fantastic job at keeping these potentially disastrous moments light with outstanding comedy and an astounding cast. Everything from the top of the show introduction to the final black out keeps you immersed in the show without ever pulling you out for a fourth wall break. I will undoubtedly be seeing this show again and recommend that you put this on your must see list. ... full review

Okay I'm sure a lot of people say shows are a "must see," but this truly is not to be missed. It's clever, funny, heartwrenching, and thought provoking. And it never stops! The pacing is dead on. You will be completely immersed in each storyline and might even leave with a new perspective on a past relationship. A real joy.... full review

I saw the first preview of this production and I would definitely recommend it. The blazing pace and excellent comedic chops of the cast don't overshadow the deeper, truthful heart of this emotionally engaging puzzle. We are introduced to only 2 characters at a time, learning about their particular relationship as each scene unfolds. You are given just enough to make you think you understand who they are, but when they appear in other scenes with different partners, new discoveries are made each time. It can turn from highly comedic, laugh out loud comedy in one instant and the next you are reaching for your hankie. The themes and situations are both universal and yet unique, and the witty dialogue is consistently delivered with honesty ... full review

'SLEEPING AROUND' is a MUST SEE! I am already planning on seeing it again. I was super stoked and felt pretty lucky to be able to attend last night's performance. (I wasn't on the 'The List' and immediately regretted it!) The line to get in was literally down the street! I was prepared to laugh my ass off until about five minutes in when I realized I was crying.. Five minutes later, I was laughing. Each and every vignette in the show tugs on the heartstrings and is relatable to absolutely every single human being who embarks on this refreshing journey! This is my second Theatre Unleashed production I've seen.. The first one being 'Pope! An Epic Musical.' I have yet to be disappointed by their productions. Keep it up! You guys are awesome!!... full review

I had such a great time seeing Sleeping Around on Saturday night. The cast was fantastic and the connecting stories flowed in and out of each other with ease. I enjoyed seeing and guessing where each vignette would lead and had a really lovely time. It was more poignant than I expected and also sadder than I expected. It was a really lovely and moving play. ... full review
