Heard but not seen, a jazz musician is the central figure in The Women of The Hat …a duet for one. The musician’s muses are his wife and daughter. Both are dancers, both are tethered to this absent man of their hearts. Like moths to flame, his alcoholism and talent draws both women dangerously close to their own destruction. A gold top hat from A Chorus Line, is one woman’s glorious salvation.
