One of my TOP FIVE for SURE! This is one of those shows that takes you by surprise, grabs you & keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. I was honestly amazed an entire hour had gone by! Brilliantly written, acted AND directed! BRAVO!... full review

Blood was... enticing from the very moment the two actors spoke. Tomas was riveting, and sexy in every syllable pronounced, and Semaj was present in every movement he made; down to his bare toes. The heat emulated from the two ensemble members may have been enhanced by the Theater's heating system, but it truly seemed to come from the chemical connection between the two. Something in this play ignited some sort of awareness I cannot quite wrap my head around. I will be seeing it again and bringing my close friends before the festival is over. If you are looking for a love story with real depth, see BLOOD! You will not be disappointed. ... full review

It's always a pleasure to walk into a show with no knowledge of what to expect and get blown out of your seat! This show had me on the edge from the first line to the curtain call! The amazing work that Semaj and Tomas put into their characters and into the connection between each other is incredible, not to mention electrifying. Writer/director Edwards has put together a show that truly is a must see and well worth any admission they place on their tickets. It is truly a joy to watch talent like this work and tell such an amazingly compelling story that will have you talking long after you leave the theare.... full review

Blood is such a raw, beautiful, and bold show. Maria Tomas and Phrederic Semaj are an unstoppable tour de force whose chemistry cements an already stellar production. This combination when paired with Michael Phillip Edwards' incredible script and direction, is probably one of the most amazing shows I have ever had the pleasure of seeing at Fringe.... full review

Highly sexual and stimulating in my pants! At the same time, it touches on several issues relating to keeping passion alive in a marriage; the importance of relaying sexual fantasies to your partner without fear of scrutiny or rejection. I really loved this show. So well written and so well acted by the two players. This one will stay with me for a very long time and it's themes will resonate in my own life. Thank you!... full review

SEXY. SEXY. SEXY!!! Yet the theme was a very important one about the struggle for intimacy after years of marriage. The writing and the performers go wide and deep to bring about a very satisfying catharsis on the matter.... full review

There's a lot to like about Blood, a Voodoo Love Story: The acting. The script. The direction. I was disappointed to see that it's not a part of the Encore series, but I hope that some version of this play (hopefully with the original cast) finds wider release soon! I liked the way that Maria Tomas and Phrederic Semaj create a whole cast of characters during the hour, even though they're the only two people on stage. They employ techniques that I've only seen in one-person shows to tell this very interesting love triangle. Not to give anything away, but the way they treat one character together added an unworldly charm to an unworldly character. As I said, if you get a chance to see this playm don't delay in snatching up tickets. I alm... full review

Erotic Horror is not the first genre I expected to see at a Fringe Festival, but after witnessing BLOOD, a Voodoo Love Story, I want more! This show is one of the sexiest productions I've seen in Los Angeles, and that's 100% because of the talent Maria Tomas and Phrederic Semaj bring to the stage. Bravo. ... full review
