If you love Romeo and Juliet, you will love this. If you HATE Romeo and Juliet, you will love this. If you're ambivalent towards Romeo and Juliet, YOU WILL LOVE THIS. It's got everything from deliciously low-brow scansion jokes to paper-bag puppets that would make your Grandmother cringe. It's a potent laugh riot that successfully avoids any poignancy whatsoever. Clear your Sunday evening, and #seeitla....

'Two Girls One Bard: Romeo & Juliet' was a fun piece of long form sketch comedy. I'm not usually into sillier pieces, but I had a blast in this tour de force R&J. Would love to see which of the Bard's pieces these ladies take on next!...

I laughed myself silly watching these two hilarious actress rip Shakespeare to shreds and then stitch him back together into a weird, hilarious Frankenstein's monster of bodacious Bard-aliciousness. Get on down to the Fringe to take in this witty, silly, sexy, smart, and short play. ...

This is the best version of "Romeo & Juliet" I have ever seen. There will never, ever be one better. I cannot remember a show where I literally laughed for 45 minutes straight. These two wonderful "jerks' shit all over Shakespeare's tragic love story for all the reasons one should and they do it with incredible comedic timing, nonstop energy and - believe it or not - adorable reverence to the material. This is one of the best shows I've seen at Fringe this and I really truly hope they continue this concept. I want to see them do ALL of Shakespeare's works! GO SEE IT!!!...

THIS SHOW IS AWESOME! I couldn't stop laughing. And yet, this isn't just Shakespeare's greatest love story "ruined by a couple of jerks." Nope. It's expertly performed by two actresses who truly know their craft and use the text so beautifully. I've always been taught that in order to find freedom in performing you must first know and respect the structure of what you are performing in. Because they are so phenomenal at utilizing and understanding the text, they are able to run completely wild and free with all of their additional writing/commentary. The use of simplistic props is brilliant. Every time the Prince came onstage in his Prince outfit with Prince playing, I lost it. Every time Kenvolio spoke up to defend his love-forlorn...

Pure fun. I was cracking up for 45 (or whatever) minutes straight. These gals' energy doesn't flag for a second, yet the show never felt too frenetic like some can. Still quoting lines from this! Just the program alone was funnier than some entire shows I've seen. ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!...
