So much great comedy, physicality, choreography, music and costume changes made this show a surprise hit to me. I loved the documentary, and figured I would enjoy this show, but I LOVED it! The cast worked so hard to bring the comedy! I laughed the entire time. The cast was suburb! This is definitely a MUST SEE show… To squeeze out every last drop of hilarity from this show, definitely check out the documentary before attending!... full review

Wowie kazowie! Awesome fun. Loren Van Kurin is a force of nature. Brendan Hunt must be seen to be believed. Frenetic energy abounds. Hilarious musical numbers of high contagion. Must see. The pace of the show is relentless, and I have to say the rapidity of costume and character changes are to be admired. GO SEE THIS!... full review

Absolutely hilarious, the two actors were beyond amazing, I don't know how they kept up the pace. Besides that, they both can really sing their hearts out. A must see show!... full review

What a fun, frolicking ROMP! Had a great time and never stopped laughing. Such a great, silly, smart take on the "true story" - and such committed and comical performances from the two actors! Can't wait to see the documentary after seeing this show!... full review

I had first heard about “King of Kong: A Musical Parody” when it was still being developed at Sacred Fools during “Serial Killers”. If you don’t know “Serial Killers”, it’s quite the unique format. A late night show where plays compete in 10 minute stints for a chance to move onto the following week with the audience entirely deciding the fate of each piece. It’s a whole lot of fun and every night is completely different. If you’re not familiar with the original source material, “King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters”, then do yourself a favor and go watch the film. It’s probably still on Netflix. The cult documentary tracks the progress of gamer Steve Wiebe as he attempts to enter the Guinness Book of World Records with the high score of... full review

I have been a huge fan of this show since Lauren and Amber first started doing it at Serial Killers. The writing is clever, the music is fantastic and the acting is spot on. Let's not forget to mention Steve Weibe's very committed dance moves. Hilarious! Brendan puts his own twist on Billy Mitchel, making it like a new show compared to the other version, and equally as funny. The actors are hardly off the stage, except to change costumes, and they never miss a beat. It's non stop entertainment but also VERY impressive stamina. I will continue to see this show again and again. The character Eveyln is easily the hilarious show stopper! ... full review
