Veteran tanker offers a harrowing and hysterical look at life in the military and beyond as he struggles with the effects of being bi-polar and dealing with PTSD.
LOSANGELES – Greg David Jones has faced numerous enemies over the course of his life, many of them coming after his (almost) four years serving as a tank driver for the U.S. Army during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. As tough as life in the military was, facing off against his bi-polar disease, the effects of PTSD and the emotions after a failed suicide attempt proved much harder.
“I’ve dealt with a lot in my life,” Jones said. “But I realize that with a lot of these things, looking back and looking at where I am now, I’ve been very lucky.”
