Full disclosure: Jeremy Aluma is my baby daddy. But even still, I can honestly say this show was delightful. I left with a happy heart and aching cheeks from so much smiling. Four Clowns took their antics to a whole new level with this show and the result doesn't disappoint. With acrobatics, a stilt walker, a ventriloquist, and burlesque there is something in it for everyone. ... full review

The Halfwits Last Hurrah is a combination of Vaudeville, Burlesque, Gypsy acrobatics and Ringling/B&B circus with just a hint of MTV. "Now performing in the center ring... Butterbeans! LIVE from the fringe!!... full review

If you can get tickets, GO! Four Clowns always moves me to laughter... and often to tears. This show is bawdy comedy, impressive acrobatics and polished showmanship...all with a raw, off-the-cuff feel that involves the audience by keeping the performance alive with an electric sense of physical and improvisational danger. Disguised as a loose Vaudevillian variety show full of taboo humor and gags, the cartoonish characters still evoke empathy, and each turn out to have a soul, a purpose, and a transformational journey. Ultimately all the crazy energy opens us up to profound sympathy and tenderness for two of the characters, and their relationship touches us more deeply than if we hadn't laughed and loosened up. GREAT FUN! GO!... full review

If you think LA Theatre is dead, then you need to go see a Four Clowns show. This is what theatre is all about. In your face. Raw. Improvisational. Zany. And full of fucking passion. This show was killer. Please extend this, I need to see it again... full review

I haven't read all the other reviews so forgive me if I'm covering the same old ground. Funny, expertly executed, right on. A great show. But what really struck me is how the clowns aren't afraid to take the audience to some pretty dark places. It's not just an hour of gags and pratfalls. There's plenty of substance going on as well. So, bravo clowns, not just for delivering the brilliant, funny show I expected, but for delivering the thoughtful, even challenging show I did not.... full review

If you're looking for nipple tassels, acrobatics, and laughter, THE HALFWITS' LAST HURRAH is a must-see at this year's Fringe! As soon as you step into line you are enveloped by an overwhelming amount of positive energy from both the crew that helped put this show together and the audience waiting in anticipation to see what these clowns have created. This show makes the audience just as important as the characters on stage and it's this sort of relationship that makes the audience sit at the edge of their chairs. There are very few times in theater where I fail to acknowledge the passage of time and this is one of them. I laughed throughout the whole show and when it finally ended it was hard to believe an hour had passed by. If you're look... full review

The Four Clowns do it again! The Halfwits' Last Hurrah swings for the fences, and through top-notch slapstick, clowning and circus acrobatics, knocks it clear out of the park! An outstanding comedic offering with a surprising amount of heart. The narrative could stand to be refined and clarified a little bit, but that minor quibble will certainly not ruin your enjoyment of this vaudeville spectacular. Put this on your must-see list. PS - In addition to the show being straight-up awesome, the clowns present the most memorable curtain speech I've seen. "Insta-gram-gram-gram-grrrm-grrrrrrmmmm..."... full review
