Cleveland Playwright Rolls the Dice for Hollywood World Premiere
Bryna Olympia, a Cleveland resident and aspiring playwright, has entered two of her plays in the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival this June. The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access, community-derived event celebrating freedom of expression and collaboration in the performing arts community. The Hollywood neighborhood hosts hundreds of productions by local, national, and international arts companies and independent performers in traditional theaters, cabarets, churches and parks. A completely open and uncensored approach also serves the mission of the festival of allowing the arts to flourish with no barriers. Additionally, by creating an environment where artists must self-produce their work, the Fringe motivates its participants to cultivate a spirit of entrepreneurialism in the arts.
