Too much 30 something angst for me. Way too much profanity. I have to admit that I did not see the ending coming.... full review

Plays are hit and miss, in my opinion usually a miss. 'LOVE IS' is a massive hit!!! All the actors are on the top of their game and believe the writer Lee Turnbull is one to watch in the future!... full review

Loved it! I found myself emotionally invested and enthralled. The actors brought the script off the page and the stroy flowed nicely with a unexpected heartbreak. I had tears of my own! Very well done ! I rec to go and see!... full review

Love is...many things...but can it withstand the problems faced in a marriage, in this case, the inability for Lee and Emily to have children? The play is well written and acted, and I loved the twist ending, which I will not reveal here and spoil it for those of you who have not seen it. I also liked the use of video at the beginning and end. The only thing which I would change is to remove all the set changes and place the furniture in such a way that it can be used in all scenes. It will tighten the play and not remove us from the action. I would definitely recommend this play; it is very see-worthy! ... full review

Love is... captured just that. Love's joys and heartbreaks, turmoil and ecstasy. I don't want to give too much away, so I'll say the "third scene' was gut-wrenchingly honest. The two actors raw onstage and as emotionally bare as two people can be. It felt very real. Lovely show.... full review

Love is... was an awesome play to attend. The intimate setting of the theatre makes you feel part of while the actors pour out emotions that I'm sure everybody has felt before. The theme of the show was patience in love and making the right decisions. Come watch how Emily rocks her character and how all the characters enhanced her heart's turbulence. Love Is is a solid effort. I felt that the performances were stronger than the material, which is an unusual surprise. The acting is really top notch, across the board. My biggest issues with it were strictly plot and script related, which, with some fine tuning, will result in a real must-see piece of theatre. It's worth seeing this time around strictly for the performances. It truly features some of the finest acting I've seen in this festival. ... full review
