A wide variety of films. Many of them comic, but a few deeply disturbing, and one quite dramatically poignant. Each night is a different slate of movies, so you won't see the same films I did. Instead I'll talk about the collective, which is comprised of anyone who has ever attended one of their free events. It's a group of friendly filmmakers who, true to their name, make movies. They operate on a principle of community development, and work hard to support each other without demanding any sort of compensation. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to know that no fees (and no scammy alternatives) are charged to be a member of the community. Let's face it, Hollywood rocks because it has the best of both mediums: theatre AND film. Tucked into the back "club" of Three Clubs on Vine is the WMMFest, a mini-festival featuring original short films and filmed sketches by filmmaking collective We Make Movies. The filmed sketches are uniformly hilarious and clever. The short films each have a strong impact, whether comedic, dramatic, or fantastical. Performances throughout are excellent. High quality filmwork and post-production elements highlight what was a very enjoyable selection of short stories. I look forward to catching their next selection on Friday night.... full review

Not only was this an amazing display of the up and coming filmmakers of today, but it was an incredible display of the human journey in all forms. The variety of storytelling was touching, heart warming and downright funny. ... full review
