Snoozer. Still don't know (or really care) who Linden Arden is. Don't understand the point of the piece. Just not for me. Forced performance, zig-zagged writing. Lots of opportunities to space out. ... full review

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and was pulled into it early on. The ride was a curious one at first. Then a friendly gesture was made which I became the recipient of which soothed and beguiled me. Good, hard Celtic storytelling that goes down with a bite and ends with a glow, just like good whisky. When it's offered, you've got to take the shot.... full review

The full spectrum of emotion is on display in this gripping character piece. At times I was unsure as to where the story arc was going, but when it all came back around, I was thoroughly surprised and delighted. See it!... full review

This is great theater! Colin Mitchell's extraordinary talent creates a story and a character out of a bit of lyrics in a Van Morrison song. Expressing tragedy and humanity, wit and wisdom, LINDEN ARDEN reaches into your guts and stays there. ... full review

Such an inspiring hour of my life. Colin Mitchell is a powerhouse performer. I had never heard the song "Linden Arden..." before this show and you definitely don't need to have it memorized before attending. The set dressing and lighting design was such a complement to the production and only served to enhance Mitchell's performance. I was blown away by how haunted I felt for the entire rest of my evening. ... full review

HIGHLY recommended. Excellent creation, writing and performance. Neither of us knew of the song, so that clearly isn't necessary to fully appreciate this unusual piece. Not your mama's monologue!... full review
