First: Go. Second: thank you. I learned a lot (prior to seeing this show I had no idea what a "Bronie" was…other than the Wiki search I did, so I was semi-clued in.) Now I get it, and think I got bronie contact high the night I saw it. I must admit, it took a minute for my "irony meter" to calm down and realize this wasn't "a making fun of" show…it was true, "sincere love of" show. Wow. That's like finding a perfect cupcake in the bottom of your messy purse. Seems impossible…but so exciting. It's like a miracle, and you feel instantly hopeful and special and happy. Third: Many wonderful performances--so big bro-hoof bumps to everyone. But must call out my fav's: loved the pony girl quartet (yummy!), loved Kurt Koehler as t... full review

A clever and inspiring spin on the effects of bullying and how we can encourage kindness and acceptance. 'Sad Trombone', 'Computer Duet' and the 'Podcast' were outstanding. ... full review

Hilarious and heartwarming! Short of giving you a play-by-play on the plot, that pretty much sums it up. The story is relatable to members of all geekdoms, though there are a few jokes in there specifically aimed at Bronies in attendance. I really enjoyed this show and hope the producers take it beyond the festival, because it could certainly play beyond the festival format in larger houses.... full review

I had the great pleasure of attending the first performance of the show, with several fellow bronies here in SoCal, and I must say, that we all had a great time, and came away with a great impression of this show. It is a wonderful performance, featuring great writing and songs, and performed by a small but very dedicated cast of local actors who are clearly passionate about their craft. Bronies: The Musical tackles some real issues that might hit very close to home for some, and it manages to address all of these topics with clever wit and delivery, and always does so with a wonderful sense of positivity and optimism. Bronies: The Musical does a great job of sincerely depicting the reasons and motivations behind why so many have bee... full review

I absolutely loved this show. Bronies: The Musical tackled many of the issues "nerds" of any fandom go through and fearlessly presented themes such as bullying, acceptance and gender stereotypes. Although the show was a little slow and nervous at the beginning, when the plot really got going I was captivated and invested in each character's development and struggles. The writing was fantastic and littered with laughs, most that catered to the entire audience and a slight few geared towards Bronies in particular. The acting was phenomenal. The entire cast was very truthful and honest, and the actors had a great energy and chemistry between one another. The three leads (Tyler, Austin and Jacob) were especially powerful and showed a great ra... full review

I'm not a Pony fan myself so I was curious to see just how much of this show would relate to others. Turns out the focus here isn't My Little Pony, it's fandom itself, which these days covers such a broad range that nearly anyone can relate. The basic story of a nerd getting bullied at high school is just the beginning, as each character comes into their own to show other angles and layers, from vets to noobs, from those that are proud representatives of their passions to those that hide behind screennames. Each song moves the story forward in clever, surprising ways. I've been through all the stages given here, of feeling lonely, finding community on the internet, making the leap to real world interactions, and coming into my own as... full review

Powers and Moore do it again!! I loved the Real Housekeepers of Studio City last year and Bronies did NOT disappoint this time either. This show is so fun, so funny and totally heartwarming. SUPER talented cast (Gabby Sanalrito is a knockout & Sarah Watkins will pull at your heartstrings) GREAT songs and stellar staging. Don't miss this show!... full review
