Los Angeles, California – April 12, 2014 - Philosophy, poetry, politics and punishment reign supreme in The Singing School, a world premiere play by Los Angeles playwright James Domine, showing May 29-31 and June 1 at the Actors Forum Theatre and June 14-15 at the Lillian Theatre, in conjunction with the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
The Singing School, set in colonial Boston circa 1715, is a romantic story of magic and music, with American Gothic overtones. Themes of religion, witchcraft, royal tyranny, corruption and superstition are wrought into a complex tapestry of love and death.
