Loved the Hollywood Fringe. We loved being a part of something so fresh. We think Jennifer Derwingson did a wonderful job with the direction. Her stage pictures were wonderful and the flow of the action well supported the ideas of the play. Loved the young actors and thought they handled the poetry with great aplomb. Jennifer must have worked very hard to build trust in the language and in each other. I even liked seeing all the actors interact after the play. It's just a joy to see all that energy.... full review

What a beautiful piece. I've seen a few movement based pieces throughout Fringe this year and this by far was the most on point. Paul Moore has done a beautiful job of crafting relatable poetry. The ensemble was really together feeling each others pulse as they moved from piece to piece forcing their audience to really acknowledge that more of than not we let our own egos stand in the way of our true being. Really, really emotionally charged performances. I throughly enjoyed this show. ... full review

The house was packed full when I saw Egomaniac - A Poetic Incantation and it was incredible to see how captivated everyone was throughout the entire performance (myself included, of course). What a powerful, thought-provoking play. The ensemble is perfection, though I must say that two of the standouts are Esther Mira and Xavier Watson. Their stage presence is amazing and the way they are able to combine the poetic words with the movement is simply beautiful to watch. This type of performance is exactly what the Fringe is all about! If you haven't seen Egomaniac yet, what are you waiting for?! Egomaniac will get you thinking deeply about relationships and maybe even how you've handled your own relationships in the past. It will keep you engr... full review

Fantastic play!! I really enjoyed the movement that accompanied the words. It really kept the audience engaged and complimented/accented the script. The cast was spectacular and the direction pristine. There were even moments where I was so touched that I teared up. I think the piece has something for everyone. I would highly recommend seeing this show. GREAT JOB!!!... full review

Superb! The casting was utterly flawless. Each actor played their role perfectly, including the child actors who were wonderful. The piece was very tightly written, funny, moving and even a little sexy. I highly recommend "Egomaniac." ... full review

A remarkable exploration of lust, love, loss, and the battles between men and women that ensue. The ensemble as a whole worked seamlessly to tell the story of a man and woman's relationship, while simultaneously relaying the primal inner demons that we all face on a daily basis. The result is a beautiful portrait of the human condition reaching for pleasure and ultimately getting burned, only to try again another day. Beautifully acted and executed by all involved! ... full review
