I try to take things moment to moment, especially with abstract movement pieces. I let it wash over me. Loved the care and trust the ensemble had for each other and for the work. Fun :)... full review

I LOVED THIS SHOW. It was very refreshing to see a show where there's more to it than just a story. There was a lot of beautiful imagery, and I felt wrapped up in the adventure from the get-go. I don't like spoon-fed theater. I like theater that stimulates your mind. That's what Lemon Boots did. It made me create my own thoughts and ideas. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a new type of theatrical experience!!... full review

This was our first time to the Fringe Festival and this was the first play we saw. We're not theater professionals, but enjoy the theater and have been to several plays on and off Broadway. This was a very good show with high energy and a great use of the cast. The symbolism was intriguing and we particularly enjoyed the presentation. This play presented us with several discussion points through the rest of the evening. I would high recommend this play.... full review

Lemon Boots draws you into the moment, providing plenty of movement and thought provoking action! This ensemble group keeps you entertained throughout the performance, providing no down time with a nice fluid flow. I would highly recommend this performance for all ages and it will certainly deliver a great entertainment experience to all that attend. Nice job and I appreciated the originality of the piece.... full review

What is the purpose of the fringe festival? I don't know. What is the purpose of Lemon Boots? To bring to life new forms of theater? To bring about a change to what theater has been for the best 50 years? To create a way for someone to leave a performance and actually have to think and discuss with peers? At least that's what it seems to me. Sure you may not be dying in your seats from laughing like in a four clowns or lost moon radio show, but it will actually make you think. There are beautiful images, and very interesting forms of movement. It is nothing I have every seen before. It belongs at fringe, and needs to be seen by everybody who comes to fringe to express their artistry. This show IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE ONLY COMMERCIAL THEAT... full review

The movement in Lemon Boots is beautiful, the use of shadow and dance is at times breath taking and thoroughly enjoyable. However the narrative is distinctly lacking. Any semblance of a storyline is just simply non-existent, reoccuring themes were present although they were not clear enough to suggest a through line of action. I found myself throughout the show struggling to determine what was happening beyond the movement. ... full review

Lemon Boots takes everything about conventional theatre and throws it on it's head. It involves its audience physically and imaginatively through a series of images created by nothing but people and space. The music is fantastic and really speaks to a modern day audience. Whether you've never seen a show in your life or if you're an avid theatre goer or somewhere in between, Lemon Boots is sure to take you away on a magical journey. ... full review

I think the best part of this show is the fact that I wasn't an alienated audience member, but rather a part of the show and a member of this world. Sure there isn't a consistent design scheme, but that's what makes this GREAT!! There is no outside elements to tell you how to feel or what to think. It is all based on the movement and the story of that I was able to create in my head. I watched the video of theirs and it looked awesome in a full production, and this scaled down version did not disappoint ONE BIT! This show CANNOT BE MISSED.... full review

LEMOM BOOTS rocked my socks off! This show was so inventive, physical, visual, heartfelt, block rockin, and just plain awesome! The one guy kicks and flips and spins like you won't believe. It's worth going just to have your mind blown. The whole cast is so committed, they become different characters and worlds with just a turn, a light shift, or a look. Sometimes I feel bogged down by shows that are obsessed with telling the same old story I've heard a million times before. With LEMON BOOTS I love that it doesn't hit us over the head with what we're supposed to take away. The story and the world is beautifully laid out before us (with us invited to participate in a welcoming way, which I love and wish happened at other shows like this!) and... full review
