One Woman Show

A metamorphosis of one woman who decides to stop treading in the water's of the past and finally learns to fly in a loving relationship with herself in the present. Told in original spoken word and song, we journey from a nymph in the water to a dragon in sky.

People of different races have been asking a Black Woman named Shanara, all kinds of questions on the streets of L.A. for the past 2 years, on her “Ask A Black Woman” YouTube series. This is a theatrical & poetic response with provocative accounts of living Black in America.

'Ghost Town' is a solo play about the Anglophone Crisis in the central African nation of Cameroon. Written, produced and performed by Constance Ejuma and directed by Jude Yong, the show explores the conflicting political ideologies which are leading the country towards a civil war.

Dark humor and raw narrative. Modern dance, en pointe ballet, and a live string duo. Alive-ish tracks the chaos and challenges of a young woman’s journey. In association with the Female Playwrights Initiative. Proceeds will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
