A person who has struggled in the past with anxiety and depression chronicles her journey in confronting her fears and battling her dark intrusive thoughts. In so doing via humorously bad decision making, she reflects upon the root of these thoughts and how to keep them at bay.

Hairstylist Nora brings her best friend, Elle, to her soon-to-open salon for a haircut. However, Elle’s all-encompassing anxiety leaves her unwilling to sit in the chair. Devolving into a scene of catastrophizing, this is a sometimes silly play confronting friendship, trust, fear and growth.

That grief, that anxiety, those intrusive thoughts, they all have nothing on you...right? OBSESSED explores the humor and pain that coexist when grief knocks down the walls we have up and compels the people we love to see right through us, even when we desperately don’t want them to.
