Nicky by Boni B. Alvarez A World Premiere, Developed in the Coeurage CoLab Inspired by Anton Chekhov’s Ivanov, acclaimed Los Angeles playwright Boni B. Alvarez transforms the world of 1800’s Russia into present-day Palm Springs in the World Premiere of Nicky.

A year after Craig’s death in Iraq, his twin brother arrives unannounced at the soldier’s wife’s home & the two are forced to face the reality of Craig’s suspicious passing. Dying City weaves between past and present to explore what happens when the dust of war settles and a new truth is revealed.

These three original pieces were written, directed and performed by the recent graduates of the Art of Acting Studio Conservatory. Developed during the 2017 Professional Conservatory Class solo show project, each is an artistic exploration of the life of a notable personality throughout history.
