Like a lot of people today, jaded campaign manager Tess Baker (think Jessica Jones meets Josh Lyman) is sick of politics. She’s just about ready to throw in the towel when somebody wakes up a candidate she can work with - Abraham Lincoln.

After a critically acclaimed run in London, “Why did the Chicken Cross the Road?” comes to LA as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Turning the familiar joke into a comedic quest, the play follows the words in that joke as they try to figure out their meaning and reach the 'real world'.
