When 3 iconic female characters escape the traditional narratives that bind them, they finally become the subjects of, rather than objects in, their own stories. Together they discover what it means to have an autonomous voice. Devised by an ensemble of 3 women. TW: discussion of abuse and suicide.

From making decisions such as straightening or curling our natural hair to coping with issues such as depression in the Black community, complex[ion] woman explores the intricacies of the everyday experiences of the contemporary woman of color in 2016.

A movement filled journey with live painting and live music! The arts collide as a disheveled musician and a uptight painter try to find the true meaning of success in their hilariously disappointing lives.
