Through a series of lessons taught by a professional curmudgeon, attendees will delve into the nonsensical assumptions and behaviors of daily life. Examples of learning outcomes include: how math can prove anything, preservatives are better than Botox, and being right over happy is so choice.

Teaching is performance, but it usually takes place in a classroom so people don’t notice. MS499: Advertising and the Social Construction of Gender takes this concept to a new level. The theatre becomes a classroom infused with magical realism. This is more than a play, it's a learning experience.
