A True Tragedy Comes This June to The Complex Hollywood

LOS ANGELES, CA – June 6, 2019: From the mind of writer and director Don Storm comes Tommy’s Room, a new one-act tragedy premiering this June during the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Tommy’s Room is a one-act tragedy that shows a glimpse into the lives of childhood friends Pete and Tommy. The play takes place in one tempestuous afternoon when Pete drops by Tommy’s room. There truths come to light, deep dark secrets are revealed, and their reality turns upside down.

“If you want to improve humanity, you must first accept seeing and hearing the worst of it.”

Tommy’s Room is a story about friendship, violence, resentment, anger and fear. Are humans fated to continue the vicious cycle of violence we see in the world every day? Is violence ingrained in human nature?

How much can our upbringing, knowledge – or lack thereof – and the way we treat others, influence violence in ourselves and in others?

Starring Conor Sheehan as Tommy, and Jesse Stevenson as Pete. Written, directed and produced by Don Storm, Executive producer Alice Silva.

Tommy’s Room will premiere on June 8, 2019 at 4:00 PM at The Dorie Theatre. Tommy’s Room is intended for Mature Audiences Only.
