WORLD PREMIERE: SICKBOY

SICKBOY

view project

Los Angeles based comedian, Tim Paul, is excited to present the World Premiere of his new solo show, SICKBOY, as part of the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Paul got his start in Boston, but spent the bulk of his career in Chicago, where he worked as a improviser, director and writer at the Annoyance Theatre, not to mention his illustrious stint as a cruise ship performer with the Second City, aboard an unnamed cruise line.

His past solo shows, NO FATS, NO FEMMES & WELLBUTRIN WHORE, were both featured as part of the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival in 2012 & 2015, respectively.

He now resides in Los Angeles with his dog, Kitty Dukakis. He’s a contributing writer for CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY and can be seen in Lynn Shelton’s upcoming feature film, SWORD OF TRUST, which just had its world premiere at SXSW ’19.

SICKBOY is a collection of stories about filth & healing, as told by the chronically ill queer who lived them. Through storytelling, stand-up and vintage porn, Tim Paul puts it all out there with extreme frankness, or as the Chicago Reader put it, he, “…uses boyish candor to blend absurdity, pathos, and graphic sex in ways that are deeply humanizing."

Think NANETTE, but with more anal.
