TAP OVERLOAD, WINNER OF BEST IN PHYSICAL THEATER AND DANCE AT 2016 HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL IS BACK AND EVEN BIGGER

LOS ANGELES, CA, May 2017: Tap Overload, an award-winning Southern California based tap dance company, is expanding their original genre-busting tap dance comedy show and bringing it back to the stage Sunday, June 18th through Sunday, June 25th, 2017 at the Assistance League Playhouse during the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

OFFICE BEAT is a light-hearted, toe tapping, family friendly dance comedy. Tappy workers once happily shuffling through their days are in for a dramatic flap ball change when the arrival of a new Boss brings a strict no tap dance policy. An office revolt breaks out as everyone unites to bring tap dance back to the office. Get ready for a multifaceted tap dance experience as workers shuffle papers and feet, roll chairs like Astaire, and office romp like Stomp in this tap de force not to be missed.

OFFICE BEAT presented by Tap Overload features original music by Andrew Van Vlear, new choreography by show creators Gabe and Mindy Copeland and a dynamic cast of unique personalities with fabulous feet. Tap Overload’s Office Beat production won Best in Physical Theatre and Dance and the Encore Producer’s Award at the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival as well as the 2016 Robby Theatre Excellence Award for Best Choreography. The company is excited to bring an expanded Office Beat with live music back to the Fringe Festival this year.
