Sacred Fools Theater in association with Get On With It Productions is proud to present:

ABSOLUTELY FILTHY AT THE HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FEST!

Haunted by guilty visions of ancient sins, a homeless man finds himself with one last long shot at redemption and the unsettling knowledge he will make a mess of it

After its remarkable, critically acclaimed run at Sacred Fools Theater in the winter of 2013, Absolutely Filthy is coming to the 2013 Hollywood Fringe Fest.

A malodorous homeless man – addled and constantly rambling obscenities to passersby – is forced to confront his past and his present when he accidentally stumbles upon the funeral of his long-estranged best friend.

He waits outside the church in the vain hope of being allowed in to pay his respects. Suddenly, he must renew acquaintances with his estranged schoolmates, each one more successful than the one before and none being particularly interested in helping him.

Our vagrant tries to come to terms with who exactly is at fault for his plight: his parents, his religion, or merely his own self?

WARNING: FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY

Here’s what the critics are saying about Absolutely Filthy:

“It seems that the Fools’ late-night series Serial Killers, where this show originated, has once again yielded comedy gold.”
Mayank Keshaviah – LA Weekly

“This many-layered text is grandly served by the consistently pitch-perfect ensemble and inspired, imaginative direction by Jeremy Aldridge.”
Myron Meisel – The Hollywood Reporter

(Absolutely Filthy is a parody of the comic strip Peanuts and has not been authorized or approved in any manner by the Charles M. Schulz Estate or United Features Syndicate, which have no responsibility for its content.)
