Three November Events to Prep for HFF20

Greetings, Fringers-

Don’t miss these three 2020 Fringe kick-off events, happening this week!

For those of you that missed the announcement, we now have official dates for the 2020 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Our eleventh festival, previews will be held June 4th-9th with the festival proper taking place June 11th-28th. We will hold our annual Opening Night Party on June 10th.

Make sure to check out these events to join our community and get an early start on the 2020 festival.
 



OFF SEASON-OFFICE HOURS
Tuesday, November 12, 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the Broadwater Plunge

Thanks to everyone who has joined us for Off-Season Office Hours so far! Please join us again tonight, 7:00 – 10:00 pm at the Broadwater Plunge (6324 Santa Monica Blvd.). Our pals at The Plunge are generously donating 20% of the proceeds to the 2020 Hollywood Fringe Festival so come have a drink for a great cause!
 



CREATIVE WORKSHOP SERIES
Saturday, November 16, 10:30 am – 5:00 pm (+ a mixer) at the Broadwater

Thinking of writing a piece for the 2020 Hollywood Fringe Festival? Already started a piece but want some feedback? Or do you just really, really love the Hollywood Fringe? You’ll fit right in! Come for one or all of these breakout sessions led by Hollywood Fringe award winners and veterans. Each workshop focuses on a different aspect of writing in the “Fringe” style and are tailored to help in various stages of the writing process. Tickets are PWYC and available here.
 



FRINGE SCHOLARSHIPS INFORMATIONAL PANEL
Wednesday, November 20, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Complex

Interested in applying for a Fringe Diversity Scholarship? We have a Fringe Scholarship informational session on Wednesday, November 20 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the Ruby Theatre at the Complex. During this panel, past scholarship winners, our committee members and Fringe staff will dive into the scholarship application process, what the winners are required to do, and answer all your questions, live! If you cannot attend, this session will be recorded and posted to FringeTV.
