This Bloomsday explore the captivating relationship between renowned Irish writer James Joyce and his muse, Nora Barnacle, in ‘Nora and Jim.’ This compelling one-act play, penned by Nora Connolly for the Centenary Celebrations of Bloomsday, delves into the later years of James and Nora. As they reminisce about their life together, the drama unfolds through the interactions of two powerful, charismatic personalities. Making its U.S. premiere, the production boasts an all-Irish cast and crew, under the direction of Ronan Wilmot. Starring Lisa Dobbyn as Nora Barnacle and Johnny O’Callaghan as James Joyce, with musical accompaniment by Dermot Kiernan, this performance is a must-see for lovers of literature and theater alike.
