Description

NOTE is a black box theatre in the heart of Hollywood. The stage area is approximately 23′ × 21′. The audience is raked with five rows of chairs. The brick side walls, the upstage wall, and the wood floor will be painted flat black for the festival. The grid height is 11’1". One door USR leads to the only restroom (which accesses the dressing room) and one door USL feeds into the dressing room (which access the restroom).

Each show will be provided a general lighting plot.

Sound

We primarily run sound on the QLab program. We also have 2 CD players and are equipped to run sound
Our sound board is a Yamaha MG 166C Mixing Board, which has 12 inputs for both 1/4" and XLR and adapters for 3.5mm audio input. Wired or wireless mics are available upon request.
We have 2 Meyer Sound UPJ-1P Compact VariO Loudspeakers for stereo output in house and 1 speaker in the lobby and outside for general ambiance.

Storage & Dressing Rooms

Unfortunately, Theatre of NOTE does NOT provide storage space of any kind. The dressing room is 12′ × 14′ with access to the restroom which provides a secondary entrance to the stage. While Theatre of NOTE prefers new and/or original work, all artists are welcomed to our stage.
