Alanna Vicente

Alanna started playing trombone in high school after her music teacher convinced her she was perfect for the instrument because she had “long arms” — and he also already had too many flute players.   Years later, while working as a model in New York she fell in love with the jazz scene and started singing standards with a couple bands around town. Since then she’s engaged her love of storytelling through music, songwriting, acting, and photography. Currently you can find her performing regularly around Los Angeles in the sixties jazz group Alanna and These Fine Gentlemen and the alternative band Jonny and Alanna. www.alannavicente.com
