Elizabeth Saydah

Elizabeth hails from the great land of New Jersey by way of Chicago, having graduated from the University of Chicago in 2005 with a B.A. in Theater and Performance Arts (so basically theater). While at Chicago, she had the opportunity to study and work with world-renowned Shakespeare scholars David Bevington and Nicholas Rudall, in addition to studying Viewpoints with one of its creators, Tina Landau. Upon graduating (and escaping the grasp of academia), she promptly embarked on her career through such venues as Stage Left Theatre and the Around the Coyote Festival and studying at Act One Studios. She also starred in her first feature film, The Color of Bruises. After moving to Los Angeles in 2006 to complete a two year Meisner conservatory program at the Sanford Meisner Center (from which she graduated in 2008), she performed in several stage shows, including Women of Manhatten at the TreStage, Four Dogs and a Bone at the Elephant Theatre, and Passed Hordes at the Whitmore-Lindley. She recently started working with Continuum Pictures, an independent film production company, and shot the horror film, The Absents. Since then, she’s joined forces with Psittacus Productions and continues pursuing film, television, and voiceover projects. She is a proud member of SAG, AFTRA and Equity. In her extracurricular job pursuits, she works as a clown and children’s entertainer and makes a mean balloon animal.
