Patrick Hurley

I’m a recent UCLA graduate. I received my MFA in Playwriting.
I’m currently the Literary Assistant at The Theatre @ Boston Court. My serialized comedy “#Instagay” can be seen Saturday Nights at Sacred Fools as part of their Serial Killers series. My play “On A Queer Day…” was produced last year as part of UCLA’s New Play Festival and is now a Semi-Finalist at the O’Neill Conference. My play “Indigo at Midnight” was produced as part of the Francis Ford Coppola One Act festival. I’ve had three other plays receive professional staged readings. I have twice received the George Burn/Grace Allen fellowship for Comedy, and two of my short stories have been published in literary journals.
My goal as a writer is to write enlightening, absurd and profound stories about/for the LGBTQ community.
