Armen Pandola

Armen Pandola is a writer, director and actor with over a dozen plays produced in the last decade. He won the Walnut Street Theatre’s (America’s largest subscription theatre) Forrest Award for Forrest! A Riot of Dreams which premiered there in 2006. In 2013, his Dino! Dean Martin at the Latin Casino, a play with music about one of America’s great entertainers, premiered at the WST and is the largest grossing show at the WST’s Independence Theatre.
His Trump’s Inaugural Speech was a hit at last year’s Hollywood Fringe.
Terror at the While House (A Stanley Drama Award Finalist),
Devils Also Believe (A Smith Prize Finalist for Best New American Play) and
Homeward Bound, his trilogy about post-9/11 America, has been produced in Philadelphia and New York.
His plays’ subjects are as diverse as our world –
Zelda & Scott! Boats Against the Current (the life of Zelda and Scott Fitzgerald),
Mrs. Warren’s e-Profession (a re-telling of the Shaw play in modern America),
The Gift of Giving (a great comedy about love and friendship and the Holidays),
Hedda Without Walls (an amateur theatre company performs and mirrors Ibsen’s classic),
Friends for Life,
Just the Sky and
The Prince (co-written with Bill Van Horn, the story of a corrupt local politician).
One of the founding members of The Irish Heritage Theatre, Armen has produced and directed several of its productions.
