John Freed
JOHN FREED (book/music/lyrics) is a pioneer. During a 32-year career as an editor at the New York Times, he worked for LGBT inclusion, led digital projects and was its first blogger. He and his partner became fathers in 1990, at a time when it was virtually unheard of for gay men to do so. Soon thereafter he began writing songs. “Sex, Anyone?” is his first musical.
