MICHAEL LEONI – WRITER/DIRECTOR:

Michael Leoni, who started out directing theater in New York, is directing “Elevator”. He directed an Off-Broadway run of “LOUD” in the NYC Fringe Festival. Michael’s most recent theater work in LA was “The Playground,” a Rock Music-infused piece that ran once a year for four years at theaters like The Unknown Theater, The Hudson Main Stage and The Deaf West Theater. It is now in pre-production as a feature film. Michael has directed short & feature films as well as taught acting at The Actors Creative Workshop.

“Elevator,” is a stage play adapted from the original short film, “Someplace In Between”, that premiered at the LA Shorts Film Festival. The play will be having its West Coast premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, at the Hudson Guild Theatre.
