Sarah Figoten Wilson

Sarah is a director, designer & teaching artist based in Los Angeles & Orange County (i.e in the car).

Directing credits include She Loves Me (Chance Theater- LA Times Critics Choice), the world premiere of The Face in the Reeds (Ruskin Group Theatre), Mary Poppins (Musical Theatre Orange County), Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well… (Costa Mesa Playhouse), and Odilia (Kennedy Center ACTF Winner). She served as Assistant Director on Death of a Salesman and The… Hat at South Coast Repertory, as well as recently assisting Tony Award winning Director Pam MacKinnon on the pre-Broadway work sessions for David Mamet’s China Doll starring Al Pacino.

Costume design work has been seen at The Colony Theatre, The Skylight Theatre, Theatre of NOTE and The Ruskin Group Theatre, and includes El Grande Circus de Coca Cola (World Premiere), Niagara Falls (world premiere), El Grande de Coca Cola (LA Weekly Nomination- Best Costume Design), Paradise: a Divine Bluegrass Musical, Cyrano De Bergerac and Mutiny at Port Chicago (NAACP nomination- Best Costume Design). Sarah is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton & The Ruskin School of Acting’s 2 year Meisner conservatory.
