Resilient AF: Rising to the Occasion

I am a big fan of Kamakshi as a human being and as a performer! Her show, Wild at Heart, was so inspiring and powerful that I had to see her 2nd how, Resilient AF. Again, Kamakshi delivered a gut wrenching performance including her gift of song. She tackles child and adult abuse in such a thought provoking way! She also educates and entertains while unraveling her layers of PTSD and resilience in such a beautiful and empowering way! ... full review

Ladies in Waiting: The Judgement of Henry VIII

The show was riveting as I was literally on the edge of my seat with anticipation of which wife would speak and what she would say. I know the history very well and completely believed each character. The staging and pacing helped bring this story to life as Henry is confronted with the truth of his misogynistic and narcissistic behaviors. Henry fought hard against these truths and I was completely drawn into his struggle and stunningly powerful performance. I loved that they saved Katherine of A... full review

Terra's show was completely entertaining and educational. I guess you could call it edutaining. She is ever so smart, educated, talented and I experienced every range of emotions from laughing out loud at her hilarious humor and pithy puns to crying as she shared so vulnerably about the depression she experienced in college. I am so grateful that Terra found her voice in the theater because hers is a voice worth hearing! I have seen scores of solo shows and this one BY FAR is one of my absolute f... full review

SNATCHED...Stories From Down There

Snatched says it's about stories from "down there" which it is, don't get me wrong, but it is way more than that. Loree talks about and to her pussy (who speaks with a German accent, hilarious!) and her sexcapades starting from the wild 60"s women's liberation movement. She is hilarious and extremely raw as she reveals her emotional/sexual addiction to very dysfunctional women. I loved her use of music and multimedia. Mostly, it's a very relatable show about wanting to love and to be loved. Loree... full review
